Who is the WRHA?
The West Rand Herpetological Association (WRHA) is a non-profit association for like-minded reptile and amphibian keepers. Our meetings include talks on a wide range of topics, and the speakers we get are experts in their fields. Regular field excursions are organised during the summer months to give the opportunity to view our awesome herp related wildlife in their natural environment!

Permit Applications
To avoid problems with your catch and release and keeping permits, remember to submit your application well in advance.
Education
We strongly advocate learning how to take care of an animal before keeping it and you can learn how to do just that with the WRHA!
